The poster for Focus Features’ “The Young Messiah” has been released.
The film tells the story of seven-year-old Jesus Christ and his family as they come to a fuller understanding of His divine nature and purpose.
Sean Bean plays Severus, David Bradley plays the Old Rabbi, Jonathan Bailey is King Herod, Isabelle Adriani portrays Seleni, Christian McKay is Cleopas and Adam Greaves-Neal plays Jesus Christ.
Cyrus Nowrasteh and Betsy Nowrasteh penned the script based on Anne Rice’s novel “Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt”.
Cyrus Nowrastehis also directs the film which will release just in time for Easter on March 11, 2016.
