There was a Clash, says Rodriguez

“Titans” remake offered to “Sin City” director

Earlier this week, Latino Review mentioned that Robert Rodriguez had been offered the chance to direct the new “Clash of the Titans” remake.

Aint it Cool News has confirmed that news, but added that due to other commitments – Warner Bros wanted to get the project up pronto but the Texan filmmaker has other projects he wants to do first – Rodriguez passed.

Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back) wrote the terrific – I tell ya, it’s great – screenplay for the new Harry Hamlin-less “Titans”.

Hopefully, Brett Ratner doesn’t get a call next.
