Announced at today’s WonderCon panel for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Out of the Shadows”, Fred Armisen will be voicing the role of the villainous Krang in the film.
Per Deadline, the former “Saturday Night Live” star will be providing the voice of the character, a tiny brain that lives inside an android skeleton.
“Anyone who’s a fan of Krang will love what Fred is doing. It’s unbelievable,” Producer Andrew Form said during the panel, which was also attended by costars Megan Fox and Stephen Amell.
Armisen’s other credits include “Portlandia”, “The Smurfs” and the recent “Zoolander 2”.
