Trailer for Ashley Greene frightfest The Apparition

While her fellow “Twilight” alum are out to impress us with their textbook capacity to recite stretched words in films made purely for French film festivals, or in the case of Taylor Lautner, deflect suggestions that their abs are where the talent lays , Ashley Greene’s intent on simply… having some fun. And hoping the audience catches the buoyant infliction.

The pretty young thing headlines Warner’s “The Apparition”, a Joel Silver (“The Matrix”, “The Reaping”) produced spookfest about a couple who are haunted by a supernatural presence that is unleashed during a college experiment.

Flick also features Sebastian Stan, ‘Bucky’ from “Captain America”; ‘Harry Potter’ star Tom Felton; and Rick Gomez, who some may remember from the short-lived but very enjoyable series “What About Brian?”. Oh, and Ashley Greene’s silk nightie seems to get a lot of screen time too! Good news! Love it’s work!

Spoiler Alert : Things Go Bump in the Night.

The film stems from the typewriter and lens of Todd Lincoln, an old friend of mine who has proved his knack for crafting cool stuff in many forms (most notably the short film). Todd’s poured his heart, soul and into this one.. so I expect it’ll be good value. Also, having worked in a capacity on one of the ’90s most infectiously-fun horror flicks “From Dusk Til Dawn”, one imagines he’d have a good idea what works and what doesn’t when it comes to the genre.
