The Simon Wells directed “Mars Needs Moms”, out March 2011 in the states and April 2011 in Australia, features the voice cast of Seth Green (“Buffy”), Dan Fogler (“Fanboys”), Elisabeth Harnois (“All My Children”), Mindy Sterling (“Austin Powers in Goldmember”), Kevin Cahoon (“The Curse of the Jade Scorpion”) and Joan Cusack (“Toy Story 3”), and tells of a nine-year-old who finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young. Looks very “Polar Express” – visually and tonally – and that’s nothing but a good thing!
