Real-life lovebirds Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard star in “Hit and Run”, a rom-com with action elements that also features the likes of Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold, Beau Bridges and Shephard’s “Parenthood” co-star Joy Bryant.
The movie, written and co-directed by Shepard, tells of a former getaway driver (Shepard) who escapes witness protection to help get his girlfriend (Bell) to her dream job in L.A. Cooper plays a criminal associate who gets wind of Shepard’s current status and goes after him, as do the authorities.
