Written Directed by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” alum Joe Lo Truglio, and featuring a superlative cast including “Orange is the New Black” alum Beth Dover, Ato Essandoh (“The Diplomat”) and Dylan Baker from Spider-Man (2022), Outpost is a new horror feature that marks the comic actor’s feature debut behind the camera. It releases May 19 on digital and in select theaters from Gravitas Ventures.
Becky Ann Baker (“Freaks and Geeks”), Dallas Roberts (Glass Onion), Ta’Rea Campbell, Tim Neff, and D.R. Anderson feature in the film, of which the synopsis tells us:
After a violent assault, a woman asks her best friend for help escaping an abusive ex. She’s given a job as a fire lookout in the mountains of northern Idaho, hoping the peaceful solitude will heal her trauma. But the PTSD and isolation have other plans, and it’s suddenly a fight to save herself and the town.
