The trailer and poster for Lionsgate’s “The Divergent Series: Allegiant” are now online.
Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Jeff Daniels, Ray Stevenson, Zoë Kravitz, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Maggie Q, Keiynan Lonsdale, Jonny Weston, Mekhi Phifer, Daniel Dae Kim, Nadia Hilker and Bill Skarsgård star in the film from director Robert Schwentke.
Noah Oppenheim and Adam Cooper & Bill Collage and Stephen Chbosky adapted the script based on Veronica Roth’s novel.
After the Earth-shattering revelations of Insurgent, Allegiant‘s Tris (Woodley) must escape with Four (James) beyond the Wall that encircles Chicago to finally discover the shocking truth of what lies behind it.
“The Divergent Series: Allegiant” will be released on March 18, 2016 and the final film in the series, “The Divergent Series: Ascendant” (previously known as “The Divergent Series: Allegiant — Part 2”) will follow on March 24, 2017.
