It’s a mere 2 months until the final chapter of the Skywalker saga hits cinema screens, and a final trailer for “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” has been revealed. And boy does it tease an epic finale!
The film focuses on the final battle between the Resistance and the First Order and director J.J. Abrams promises a “satisfying ending“.
“The Rise of Skywalker” brings back Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Rey (Daisy Ridley), who are preparing to face off in their final battle against one another, as other members of the Resistance, including Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Finn (John Boyega), and BB-8 fight for the universe’s future. Also starring is Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, and Billie Lourd.
“The Rise of Skywalker” will also see the return of more classic characters, including Ian McDiarmid as Palpatine and Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, as well as newbies Naomi Ackie and Richard E Grant.
The film hits cinemas December 20!
