TV duo headlining Warner’s Hangover

TV faves Bradley Cooper (“Alias”, “Kitchen Confidential”) and Ed Helms (“The Office”) have signed to star in a new comedy from “Old School” helmer Todd Phillips.

In “Hangover”, which Warner Bros are bankrolling, three pals lose the groom at his Vegas bachelor party, 40 hours before the wedding. The script was written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore – who sold it for over $2 million bucks!

According to the trades, Cooper will play the best man, who organizes the bachelor party, and Helms will play one of the groom’s friends. The parts of the groom and the third friend are still being cast.

Director Phillips was originally set to helm a new Warner Bros- Jack Black comedy “Man-Witch” this year, but Black recently jumped ship and thus, the film’s now without a star. Could be another year or so before that one gets up again.
