Twin Peaks co-creator rebooting Miss Marple!

Mark Frost, who with David Lynch created cedar-smelling soapie “Twin Peaks” and also wrote “Fantastic Four : Rise of the Silver Surfer” (how the mighty fall, hey!?), is writing a reboot of Agatha Christie’s “Miss Marple” for Disney.

According to Deadline, Frost’s script will fix on a woman in her thirties or early forties, instead of the mystery sleuth being an old English woman, and she’ll likely be played by Jennifer Garner. “Marple” is being shaped as a star vehicle for the former “Alias” star, who next appears in Warner’s “Arthur” remake. Jen seems to have a thing for reboots doesn’t she? You’ll recall she’s also supposedly attached to a big-screen redo of “Laverne & Shirley”.

Whatcha think? Should they just leave Miss Marple alone? Or maybe they should’ve just retained the idea of Marple being an older woman?
