Ving Rhames is donating his heavyweightness to “Indie Operator”, a new beat-the-clock indie from newbie filmmakers Obin and Amariah Olson.
Mischa Barton, Michael Pare, and Rhames’ “Death Race 2” co-star Luke Goss are also onboard.
Deadline, who had the news first, say the flick is an “action-thriller about a 911 operator and her estranged cop husband whose daughter is abducted, forcing them to dispatch the city’s police and fire units to remote locations at the kidnappers’ bidding.”
Earlier this week Rhames was confirmed for the fifth “Mission : Impossible”, reprising his Luther Stickell role.
