Craig Viveiros is set to direct “Queen & Country”, a spy thriller starring “Juno’s” Ellen Page.
The British director will helm the project, which is based on Greg Rucka’s Oni Press comic book series of the same name, for Chernin Entertainment at Fox.
The film is centred on British agent Tara Chase as she flees from her own people, attempting to bring down a terrorist on English soil.
John Rogers is writing the screenplay.
“I’m thrilled to be working with Fox and Ellen in the task of bringing Tara Chace and Queen & Country to life on the big screen,” said Viveiros. “The echoes of excitement in creating an exciting, unique bold addition the spy genre are held firm by Greg’s solid, riveting source material.”
Peter Chernin will produce through Chernin Entertainment, along with Jenno Topping.
