Washington catching the Train

Denzel Washington has signed up to star in Tony Scott’s “Unstoppable”. It’ll be the fifth time the actor and filmmaker have worked together (the other five are “Crimson Tide,” “Man on Fire” and “Deja Vu” and the upcoming “The Taking of Pelham 123”).

Washington would play an experienced engineer who jumps in a locomotive with a young conductor to chase down a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals.

Mark Bomback (“Live Free or Die Hard”) wrote the script, which is loosely inspired by a true event.
