Paramount Pictures announced this morning that Tod “Kip” Williams (and not the oft-rumoured Brian De Palma – not that anyone truly believed that, right!?) will direct “Paranormal Activity 2”.
Says “Paranormal Activity” director (and the newly ‘rich’) Oren Peli : ”We are thrilled to have Kip working with us. He is the guy we want at the helm, because he knows exactly what we want to deliver to the fans… and I can’t wait to be a part of what he’s putting together. I don’t want to spoil the story but I promise it’ll surprise you. Stay tuned.”
Williams’ credits include the Kim Basinger/Jeff Bridges drama “The Door in the Floor” and “The Adventures of Sebastian Cole” (which he wrote).
The sequel lenses this Summer and will be in theaters October 22.
