FX’s “X-Men” spinoff “Legion” has cast Jeremie Harris as a series-regular.

Harris will play Ptonomy, “an outsider by nature, stand-offish and sardonic, who is a former child prodigy who feels trapped in the past”, reports THR.

Titled “Legion”, the pilot centres on Dan Stevens’ character David Haller (in the comics, David is the son of X-Men founder Charles Xavier aka Professor X), a man diagnosed as schizophrenic who has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with another patient, he is is forced to consider that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real.

Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart and Rachel Keller are also in the cast.

Production will kick off in March.
