Zellweger talks Bridget Jones 3

Actress not keen to open “Diary” again

Will crazy-as-a-fox Renee Zellweger return for a third “Bridget Jones”? (Colin Firth probably hopes so).

According to the twitchy Oscar Winner herself, there’s no plans at the moment – despite recent rumours to the contrary – for the frumpy loser-in-love to feature in a third film.

“It’s like all the other rumours—it’s simply not true,” Zellweger tells ITV. “It seems there is some kind of talk, but it’s not with the people who make the movie or write the books.

“I heard about that in London. I just got back from Vancouver and I got hit with those questions, like, it’s a fact and it’s signed, sealed and delivered. I thought, ‘Wow! That’s a surprise,’ so I called the sources and they said it was bollocks and there is no truth in it at all.

“I don’t know if I would. It depends on so many factors. First, Helen Fielding would have to ask me to come back, and then there has to be a script that we can all agree on.”

If it were to happen, Zellweger said she would consider eating food again as research. “If it were to happen, then the least of my concerns would be putting the weight on again. I’ve said it before: I like it when I look a little more voluptuous.”
