Warren Adler’s 2001 novel “Mourning Glory” is set to be adapted for the big screen.
Karen Leigh Hopkins will adapt the book for Grey Eagle Films.
The black comedy follows a recently unemployed single mother who attends the funerals of wealthy widowers in an attempt to land herself a rich husband.
Grey Eagle is also developing other Adler titles such as “The War of the Roses: The Children” and “Target Churchill”, which Adler penned with James C. Humes, as well as “Capitol Crimes” as a TV series.
