2/21/2015: With “Mission: Impossible 5” slated for release in just over five months and production still underway, it would seem a remarkable idea to halt filming, right?
Well according to The Hollywood Reporter, production did shut down for about a week in order to allow director Christopher McQuarrie and an unidentified writer to come up with a “new and improved” finale for the blockbuster.
“Chris, Tom [Cruise] and a third person wanted to take a minute to get from what they thought was a good place to a more perfect place,” quotes THR.
So, all eyes on the finale come release time.
“Mission: Impossible 5” is due to hit cinemas on July 31.
