Our very own ‘Charley Bowdre’ from the UK – lucky so-and-so visited the set of “The Dark Knight” last year! – just caught a rather interesting bit on London radio.

Sir Richard Branson was on London’s LBC radio station this morning where he mentioned Bond 22 production ‘Quantum of Solace’. Branson told host Nick Ferrari his Virgin Atlantic Group has secured further product placement branding in the latest adventures of the suave super spy in, currently filming in the UK and Europe, as they did for in the last picture, ‘Casino Royale’ (in which Branson also made a cameo.
He went on to say Bond (Daniel Craig) will be seen in at the bar of the first class section of one of the Virgin Atlantic aircraft. Branson also joked that he’ll not be making an appearance in this one. “They haven’t asked me!” He quipped. Adding, Branson stated having Virgin be part of Bond is a very good set of advertising.
Indeed.
