Well, there’s good news and there’s bad news.
The bad news is – for fans of the series, anyway – the on-again off-again on-again “A Nightmare on Elm Street” remake has officially got the greenlight. The good news is… shit, I don’t know. Is it apparent I’m clutching at straws if I use ‘Roseanne isn’t likely to cameo in this one?’
Nah, the good news, I guess, is that Robert Englund *may* make an appearance in the film. He won’t be Freddy Krueger (Producers Michael Bay and Brad Fuller want a new actor to don the Christmas jumper and sharp glove) but he will be in there – somewhere. Probably. Look out for him as a janitor or university lecturer, I guess? Shameful. I can’t imagine anyone but Bobby E in the role of the smart-ass slaughterer.
