While production has wrapped, Deadline reports “Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have gone back to add a new scene, one centred on Paul McCartney.
McCartney joins Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Javier Bardem as the villainous Captain Salazar, Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Brenton Thwaites and Kaya Scodelario in the cast of the film.
Details of McCartney’s role aren’t yet known.
The film will release on May 26, 2017.
