Keri Russell on a possible “Star Trek” cameo
Keri Russell was this close to appearing in the new “Star Trek” film, the actress tells TV Guide.
“We were trying to work that out, but I don’t think it’s going to work out”, the spunky starlet says in a video interview.
So who was Russell set to play you think? a love interest for Kirk?
Instead, Russell says she’s looking to work with director J.J Abrams on something else.
And speaking of “Star Trek” no-shows, Empire Online heard from Tom Cruise that Maverick won’t be playing Christopher Pike in the new movie – either that, or he’s keeping mum. Hmm.
