ABC has cancelled “Nashville”.
The show is currently in it’s fourth season, starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as rival country music stars, Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes.
Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Will Chase, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Aubrey Peeples, Lennon Stella and Maisy Stella co-star in the series.
The series will wrap up on May 25 with the season four finale.
The network has also axed “Castle” after eight seasons.
The May 16 season 8 finale will serve as the final episode of the series.
Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic and Tamala Jones starred in the show from creator Andrew Marlowe.
