A&E renews Bates Motel for two more seasons

There are twenty new “Bates Motel” episodes on the way with the A&E Network ordering two more season of its hit show.

“The vision of our incredible creative team has exposed the steady breakdown of the relationship between Norman and Norma Bates,” said Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President and General Manager A&E and Lifetime. “We are thrilled to bring fans two more seasons to witness the next stages of Norman’s transformation into the most notorious psychopath in cinematic history.”

Production on the new eps will get underway later this year with the first of the new seasons set to air in 2016.

Vera Farmiga stars as Norma Bates with Freddie Highmore as Norman. Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke and Nestor Carbonell co-star.
