Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake will team for “Runner, Runner”, a Brad Furman (“The Lincoln Lawyer”) directed drama that begins filming in this June.
Deadline says the movie “revolves around the world of offshore online gaming and an increasingly tense relationship between a business founder and his protege.”
Some will probably scoff at Affleck doing a movie with musician turned actor Timberlake, but those people clearly haven’t seen “Alpha Dog” or “The Social Network” – then, they’d realize Timberlake might just be one of today’s most promising young actors.
