Alex Pettyfer is to play a character inspired by Channing Tatum in the new Steven Soderbergh flick, “Magic Mike”.
The Hollywood Reporter says the “I Am Number Four” star is playing a young male stripper – based on Tatum, who got around with a boom-box and leotard before trying acting. It’s a comedy – of course.
Tatum (who stripped for about 18 months to make ends meet while waiting for that call from Hollywood) will star in the film too, playing a mentor to Pettyfer’s ‘Magic Mike’.
