Hamburg directing new Rudd/Segel comedy
One of the most talented bastards out there at the moment, Mr. Paul Rudd (whose career has skyrocketed now that he’s hooked up with Judd Apatow), has signed to play the lead in “I love you, Man”.
Jason Segel, who appeared opposite Rudd in “Knocked Up”, also looks set to appear in the pic.
The John Hamburg-penned script centers on a man about to get married who actively seeks out a male friend to be his best man for the wedding. Hamburg (“Along Came Polly”) will also direct.
The flick, which Ivan Reitman is a producer on, rolls in March.
