Amanda Seyfried and Shirley MacLaine will star in dramedy “The Last Word”.
Mark Pellington is directing from a screenplay by Stuart Fink about a retired successful businesswoman (MacLaine) who wants to control everything around her until the bitter end, so she decides to write her own obituary to make sure her life story is told her way.
Seyfried will play the young writer who is assigned to the task.
Pellington, Wondros’ Anne-Marie MacKay and Myriad Pictures’ Kirk D’Amico are producing. Aaron Magnani will exec produce.
