Amber Heard and Nicholas Hoult will team for car chase thriller “Autobahn”, according to Screen Daily.
The Eran Creevy (“Welcome to the Punch”) directed film sold a raft of territories at AFM this week, led by eOne for UK, Canada and Benelux.
The film, set to go into production in March 2014, centers on an American backpacker who gets involved with a ring of drug smugglers as their driver, though he winds up on the run from his employers across Munich’s high-speed freeways.
Zac Efron was originally set as the male lead but for one reason or another fell out. “Warm Bodies” alum Hoult now plays male protagonist.
