Jennifer Garner would be keen, but would J.J?
“Sex and the City”, “The X-Files”…. Is an “Alias” film next?
That tall drink of water, Jennifer Garner was asked by Latino Review whether she’s heard the rumours – can’t say I’ve heard them, though it doesn’t surprise me that it’s been suggested, especially being that ‘remakes’ are all the rage right now – that Disney might be resurrecting her TV hit for the big screen.
“Yeah, I hear that too”, the spunk said in an interview to promote her new movie “The Kingdom”.
Garner hasn’t heard from J.J Abrams, the show’s creator, about the movie. If she did, and if he came to her saying he’s onboard, then she’d be the first to ask where she signs up!
“If J.J. [Abrams] were writing it and directing it? Then absolutely, we’d all sign on. It’s all in his crazy brain. I haven’t heard, he certainly hasn’t mentioned that to me. “
What about Peter Berg, though? He could probably do something nifty with an “Alias” movie, Jen?
Anyway, “Alias” the movie? Hmm. Yeah. Time Michael Vaughn faked his death again.
