Andy Muschietti could direct The Flash!

“IT” director Andy Muschietti is reportedly in talks to direct DC flick “The Flash”, the solo flick for the fastest man alive. At this stage, Ezra Miller remains cast as the superhero. Christina Hodson is being eyed to pen the script, with Barbara Muschietti (Andy’s sister/business partner) to produce.

The fallout from 2017’s “Justice League” left the “Flash” film with heavy doubts, but this news is hope that the Flash lives on.

Hodson, who wrote “Bumblebee” and “Birds of Prey”, is wanted to write after Warner Bros. decided not to pursue the script from Miller and comics author Grant Morrison, or drafts from John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

Muschietti is typically known for directing horror, and directed the upcoming “IT: Chapter Two”. However in recent years, a number of filmmakers have crossed over into the superhero world, including James Wan with Aquaman and David F. Sandberg with “Shazam!”.
