Aunt May movie in the works?

Sony definitely can’t seem to decide what to do with the “Spider-Man” franchise – beyond wanting to do something completely different.

While they continue to develop spin-off films based on side characters “The Sinister Six” and “Venom”, the studio might also be looking at doing an ‘Aunt May’ origin story.

Latino Review says a movie based on the younger years of Peter Parker’s aunt is under consideration.

The site says the film would see May Parker caught up in a “Mad Men”-era espionage story. Assumingly, we’d all see how young Ben Parker was able to land his future bride.

Sally Field played May in the most recent “Spider-Man” films.
