Ava DuVernay exits DreamWorks’ Intelligent Life

Director Ava DuVernay has exited DreamWorks’ sci-fier “Intelligent Life”.

According to THR, DuVernay quit over “scheduling conflicts”.

Lupita Nyong’o is still attached to star in the film which has a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

“Intelligent Life” centers on a United Nations employee who monitors outer space and makes contact with a beautiful woman who may be an alien.

Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment is producing with Frank Marshall, Trevorrow and Big Beach.
