Aussie stunner Jessica McNamee (“Packed to the Rafters”) has snagged a plum role in new Steve Carell-Emma Stone flick “Battle of the Sexes”.
Per Deadline, the film tells of the 1973 tennis match between Billie Jean King (Stone) and Bobby Riggs (Carell). McNamee, who’ll also star in Warner’s “CHiPs” film, plays leggy Aussie tennis star Margaret Court.
The project, based on a Simon Beaufoy script, is directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.
Sarah Silverman, Andrea Riseborough and Elisabeth Shue also star.
