Ben Mendelsohn’s going rogue again.
The “Rogue One : A Star Wars Story” actor is set to play the villianous Sheriff of Nottingham in “Robin Hood: Origins” for Appian Way, Safehouse Pictures and Thunder Road Pictures.
Mendelsohn, hot from his turn on Netflix’s “Bloodline”, would join Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, Jamie Dornan and Eve Hewson in the reinterpretation of the classic emerald archer yarn.
Otto Bathurst is directing the film, with Leonardo DiCaprio one of the producers.
Mendelsohn can be seen this weekend in cinemas everywhere as the nasty in “Rogue One”.
