Ben Schnetzer (“Pride”) has boarded writer-director Oliver Stone’s untitled Edward Snowden film.
Schnetzer joins Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Melissa Leo and Zachary Quinto in the film about the former U.S. intelligence analyst who released classified documents and has been on the run ever since.
The film is based on the book “Time of the Octopus” by Snowden’s lawyer, Anatoly Kucherena.
Moritz Borman and Eric Kopeloff will produce with production likely to get underway in the spring.
