By now you might be aware that New Regency is developing a live-action adaptation of the Ubisoft video game “Assassin’s Creed” which has Michael Fassbender attached to star. Now “Two Days, One Night” actress Marion Cotillard has been picked up to co-star.
Justin Kurzel is directing the film with production set for the US fall and a release date set for December 21, 2016.
Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Conor McCaughan, Fassbender and Pat Crowley are producing.
Fassbender and Cotillard also starred together under the direction of Kurzel in the soon-to-be released “Macbeth”.
