Ben Stiller has signed to star in the long-awaited remake of “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”, a film once earmarked the comic actor’s regular cohort Owen Wilson.
According to Deadline, Stiller’s attachment will see the film – which has suffered quite a few setbacks, mainly due to issues with the script – head towards the starting line.
The 1974 film starred Danny Kaye as a perpetual daydreamer.
Steve Conrad (“The Pursuit of Happyness”) is scripting for Fox.
Is Stiller right for the film, though?
