“1408” scribe Matt Greenberg is bringing the often-told tale of ‘Beowulf’ back to the screen, says THR. While the last chronicle of the Scandinavia hero was told in the form of expensive, animated movie blockbuster, this one will be a series adaptation for “Galactica” crowd SyFy.
The series will again fix on Beowulf’s mission to take down the feared monster Grendel.
Michael Chechik, Andrew Cosby, Paulo de Oliveria, Matt Greenberg and Brian Hamilton are onboard to executive produce.
