Philip Seymour Hoffman’s sophomore directing effort will be a the depression era ghost “Ezekiel Moss,” from Keith Bunin’s Black List script, says Variety.
Hoffman’s follow up to directing debut “Jack Goes Boating”, would tell the story of a young boy in a small town who befriends a drifter who swears he can talk to the dead.
Hoffman is currently in Atlanta, Georgia filming “The Hunger Games : Catching Fire”.
Meanwhile, another black list script “Corsica 72”, based on a script by “Casino Royale” scribes Robert Wade and Neal Purvis, has found a champion in director Chan-wook Park (“Oldboy”).
Based on a true story, the crime drama, says Variety, “follows two best friends who live on the small island of Corsica where they choose different paths in life — one as an honest working man, the other as a gangster — and feud over a woman who comes between them.”
