Blake Lively, Channing Tatum and Jude Law Have Some Side Effects

Well, looks like Blake Lively doesn’t need her “Gossip Girl” fix to pay her bills. The actress, along with Jude Law and Channing Tatum will star in director Steven Soderbergh’s (“Contagian”, “Haywire”) next film, “Side Effects”.

Originally titled “A Bitter Pill”, Indiewire reports that “Side Effects” will see Lively starring as Emily Hawkins, a woman who turns to prescription meds to cope with the anxiety of the upcoming release from prison of her husband. Channing Tatum will be taking the role of the husband, while Jude Law, who was part of the ensemble cast of “Contagion,” will play Lively’s new psychiatrist.

Tatum and Soderbergh have already worked together on two of their upcoming releases together, “Magic Mike” and “Haywire” while Law and Soderbergh worked on “Contagion”.

Filming will start in April for a release in 2013.
