Blake Lively in talks for shark thriller In The Deep

Blake Lively could be in line to star in Sony’s shark flick “In The Deep”.

According to The Wrap, Lively is in talks to join the project which has Jaume Collet-Serra attached to direct from Tony Jaswinski’s screenplay.

Reportedly a cross between “127 Hours” and “Jaws”, “In The Deep” centres on a young woman who is trapped on a buoy 20 yards out to sea, with a huge Great White Shark between her and the shore.

Should Lively secure the part, she’d be the sole actor on-screen for most of the film.

Weimaraner Republic Pictures’ Lynn Harris and Matti Leshem are producing.
