Blank Slate has a full cast!

The Inventor of the Cylons heads new Dean Devlin pic!

The fabulous Eric Stoltz (“Pulp Fiction”, “The Butterfly Effect”) will re-team with the producer of “The Triangle”, the equally gifted Dean Devlin (“Independence Day”), for a clever new flick titled “Blank Slate”.

The TV movie, directed by John Harrison (“Dune”), will serve as a springboard for a TV series pilot on US broadcaster TNT. It’s something Harrison has been trying to get up for a while. No doubt thanks to the writer’s strike, and the script deficiency that seems to have caught Hollywood in a bog, Harrison finally got his wish.

Created by Devlin and Harrison, the film tells of an amnesiac (Lisa Brenner), sentenced to Death Row for a murder she can’t remember committing, who is given a second chance at freedom by the FBI. Recruited as part of the secret experimental unit of the FBI’s unsolved crimes division, Huston is implanted with the final memories of murder victims. But while she pursues the leads of other peoples’ memories, she is haunted by the distant echoes of her own life … A life she can’t remember.

Clancy Brown (“Starship Troopers”, “Highlander”) joins Stoltz and Brenner for the pic.

Stoltz’s upcoming work includes the “Caprica” pilot for Sci Fi, and the big-screen fright-flick “Howl”, a horror/comedy from director David Flores, inspired by the classic werewolf movies, that’s set to go into production later this year.
