Bojana Novakovic snags lead in new CBS drama!

Aussie actress Bojana Novakovic (“Rake”, “Drag Me To Hell”) will play the female lead in CBS’ drama pilot “Four Stars”.

The actress joins former “That ’70s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama in the drama, which fixes on “two powerful rival families in the military community of Tampa, FL — the Buckleys and the Rodriguezes — who make decisions at the highest levels in the interest of national security”, says Deadline.

The pilot comes from playwright/TV writer Becky Mode, CBS TV Studios, and studio-based Timberman/Beverly Productions.

RJ Cutler will direct.

Novakovic will play “Ali Buckley, a sharp‐witted, Pulitzer Prize-nominated investigative journalist and the daughter of four‐star special ops legend General Buckley (Bruce Greenwood). Valderrama plays Matt, the son of Gen. Rodriguez (Steven Bauer). Ashley Zukerman and Ana Cruz Kayne are set as Ali and Matt’s sibling, respectively.”

Novakovic has a role in HBO’s upcoming “Westworld”, so she’ll be all over our screens over the next twelve months.
