One-time Lois Lane Kate Bosworth will star in and produce the sci-fi action thriller “Genesis”, which is being stumped at AFM this week.
According to Deadline, the film tells of a a mother searching for her daughter in a post-apocalyptic world. Mike Lè Han is directing the pic penned by Brian Michael Scully.
Bosworth, whose credits include “Superman Returns” and “Beyond the Sea”, has a few sci-fi projects on the way; she produces and stars in the upcoming Netflix series “The I-Land” and recently fronted post-apocalyptic drama “The Domestics” and Nat Geo’s “The Long Road Home”.
Bosworth’s Make Pictures shingle is also prepping a Sharon Tate biopic, “Tate”, in which she’ll play the lead for husband and director Michael Polish.
