Riz Ahmed will join Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel, Scott Shepherd and Tommy Lee Jones in the next “Bourne” installment.
According to Variety, Ahmed will play a CIA tech specialist.
Paul Greengrass is helming from a script he co-wrote with Christopher Rouse. Plot details remain under wraps.
Producers are Frank Marshall, Jeffrey Weiner, Greengrass, Damon, Greg Goodman and Ben Smith. Rouse and Henry Morrison will exec produce.
The film will open on July 29, 2016.
