Bow Wow joins Fast and the Furious 3

Bow Wow – now plain ol ‘big, not ‘Lil – has snagged a plum movie role for himself.

According to Rolling Stone, the mini-rapper cum actor is joining the cast of Universal’s car caper "Fast and the Furious 3 : Tokyo", for director Justin Lin.

In the film, a chap named Shaun Boswell heads to Tokyo, in an effort to escape prison, to live with his military officer uncle. In a low-rent section of the city, Shaun gets caught up in the underground world of drift racing.

Meantime, NZ stuntman Rhys Millen, who worked on "The Dukes of Hazzard", is doing the car-stunts for the film, says The Los Angeles Times.

Meantime, a sequel to Bow Wow’s "Like Mike" is also in the works. He’s opted not to do it though. Josh Washington has the lead this time, co-starring with Michael Beach ["E.R"], Kel Mitchell ["Fat Albert"] and Monica Delain ["Agent Cody Banks"].In it, another young tyke stumbles upon Michael Jordan’s magical pair of sneakers.
