Source say “Justice League” Superman will replace him
The Daily Planet is reporting, er, I mean, Latino Review is reporting that Superman will look a little different when he next hits the big screen : Seems he won’t look so much like Brandon Routh.
Why? Routh has been dumped from the role. Booted from Metropolis like a Meteor freak.
The next stand-alone “Superman” movie – which was to be the Bryan Singer-directed “The Man of Steel”, only Singer’s no longer involved, so who knows what it’ll end up being, let alone titled – will feature a new Supes/Clark Kent.
Who?
The site says that whoever is cast as the new Superman in the forthcoming “Justice League” will play the same role in the solo film that’ll follow. Interestingly enough – or rather ‘how’s this for a kick in the balls’? – they’re after a youngster (someone in their early twenties) to play the JLA “Superman”, so the next Superman movie won’t be so much “SuperMAN” as it will be… “Superboy”.
Sucks to be Brandon Routh right now.
