Bryan Singer has his closed his deal to direct “X-Men : Apocalypse”.
The follow-up to this year’s “X-Men : Days of Future Past” marks Singer’s fourth “X-Men” movie.
Singer was always expected to return as director, but those sexual abuse allegations had some questioning whether Fox might shy away from rehiring him. In August, Singer’s accuser withdrew his lawsuit.
“Apocalypse” will be set in the ’80s, and is believed to largely fix on the cast of “First Class” (though Wolverine is said to play a part).
